Pouring My Heart Out

The phrase “Pouring My Heart Out” comes from the philosophy “That You Must Fill Up to Overflow”.  Play, meditation, intuition, and vulnerability are the concepts of loose intuitive balance that I used to create this series based on the 7 chakras centers of the nervous system. I meditate on these centers on a regular basis to keep my emotional physical and spiritual balance.  

• Red is the base chakra and this color represents the root chakra which binds us to this earthly plane and our connection to self and others
• Orange for creativity, fertility and passion 
• Yellow for personal power 
• Green or the heart chakra which is connected to giving and receiving  love and forgiveness
• Turquoise or throat chakra is the center of communication, this color represents the voice and the ability to create with ones authentic voice 
• Indigo blue is the third eye chakra and center for intuition, psychic ability and clarity  
• Lavender is the crown chakra representing the higher self and  spiritual protection

Staying resilient and balanced is a daily exercise. Creating art is a critical way to express complex emotions and put them into perspective. Bill Wilson the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous wrote, ”You cannot transmit something you haven’t got". Doing what I love fulfills me, so I can overflow.
